Now, imagine the same scenario but this time, you are not an adult, but a mere child \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>Life Does Not Lose Its Value<\/i>\u00a0is a story of men and women \u2013 young men and women who were fortunate enough to survive the horror of war as seen through a child\u2019s eyes. Men and women who once were child soldiers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">And it is the story of one man in particular, Father <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Giuseppe_Berton\">Giuseppe Berton<\/a>. This Italian missionary saw something in these broken warriors, and set out to exorcise their nightmares and bring them back to a sense of normality. When\u00a0Sierra Leone\u2019s bloody war finally ended, the child soldiers became outcasts \u2013 unwanted and unloved.
